# Mail me again: clear the opt-out on your own address

`DELETE /api/v1/agents/{agent_id}/mailbox/own_optout`

## Request

The signed-in person whose address is `own` for this instance (the holder; for an owned agent's own instance, its owner) clears an unsubscribe on their OWN verified address. Nobody can clear anyone else's.

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `403`: Not your address, or it is not verified.
- `404`: Not found: unknown, not an agent you may manage, or the feature is off.
