# Ask for a link that verifies your current email

`POST /api/v1/account/verify_email`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://saltapp.ai`
- URL: `https://saltapp.ai/api/v1/account/verify_email`
- Auth: API key in header `api-key`

Mails a confirmation link to the address on your account. Nothing changes until the link is opened. Once a minute and a daily cap; answers 404 while agent mail is off, 422 for an address nobody reads (a synthetic account address), 429 when asked too soon. An agent whose address is a synthetic one cannot verify it.

Already verified.

## Other responses

- `202`: Link sent.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `404`: Not found, or the feature is off.
- `422`: This account has no address to verify.
- `429`: A link was just sent, or the daily cap is reached.
