# Update Property

`PUT /{org_id}/properties/{salsify:id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.salsify.com/api/v1/orgs`
- URL: `https://app.salsify.com/api/v1/orgs/{org_id}/properties/{salsify:id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

## Path parameters

- `org_id` string, required
- `salsify:id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `metadata_id` string: Property metadata can be added in value pairs. `{metadata_id} : {metadata_value}` where `metadata_id` is the metadata id being associated with the Salsify property, and `metadata_value` is the corresponding metadata value. If `metadata_id` does not exist in org, metadata property will be created.
