# Create a short link

`POST /short-urls`

## Request

REQUIRED SCOPES <code>['messages:write']</code><br>Creates a new short link for one URL on the organization's short domain, to put into a message. Every call creates a new link, also for a URL shortened before.

  - `url` string, uri, required

## Response `200`

Short link created

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthenticated
- `403`: HIPAA organization: the OAuth application has no signed Business Associate Agreement
- `422`: Missing or invalid url
- `429`: Too many requests for the organization
- `503`: The short link service is unavailable
