# Connect LinkedIn account

`POST /multichannel/workspaces/{workspaceID}/linkedin/accounts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://multichannel-api.salesforge.ai/public`

- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Connects a LinkedIn account to the workspace using credentials and an optional proxy. A matching sender profile is created automatically. If LinkedIn issues a 2FA challenge, the response carries `requires2fa: true` and the caller must submit the code via the OTP endpoint.

    - `email` string, required: LinkedIn login email.
    - `firstName` string: First name recorded on the account.
    - `lastName` string: Last name recorded on the account.
    - `linkedinUrl` string: Public LinkedIn profile URL of the account.
    - `password` string, required: LinkedIn login password.
    - `proxy` RequestsConnectLinkedinAccountProxyRequest: Proxy to route the LinkedIn session through. Recommended for account stability.
      - `host` string, required: Proxy hostname. An explicit scheme (e.g. socks5://) selects the protocol; otherwise http is used.
      - `password` string: Proxy password, when the proxy requires authentication.
      - `port` integer, required: Proxy port.
      - `username` string: Proxy username, when the proxy requires authentication.
    - `skipSenderProfile` boolean: Connect the account without creating a sender profile for it. By default a draft sender profile is created and linked automatically. Set this to true to connect the account standalone, then attach it via POST /sender-profiles or PATCH /sender-profiles/{id} with linkedinAccountId.
