# Update user (full)

`PUT /users/{key}`

Update the specified user. If a field is not included in the query body, that field will be set to null or its default value.

## Path parameters

- `key` string, required

## Request body

- object — A person or API client who interacts with the Refocus system.
  - `email` string — The user's email address.
  - `imageUrl` string — Optional thumbnail image.
  - `name` string, required — First and last name.
  - `fullName` string — The user's full name.
  - `password` string
  - `profileId` string

## Response `200`

Success, returns updated user.
