# Delete collector group.

`DELETE /collectorGroups/{key}`

Delete collector group if it isn't in use by a Sample Generator.

## Path parameters

- `key` string, required

## Response `200`

Deleted.

- CollectorGroupsResponse — The group of collectors
  - `description` string — A description of the collector group.
  - `createdBy` string — Id of the user who created the collector group.
  - `id` string — The collector group id.
  - `name` string — The collector group name.
  - `collectors` object[] — List of collectors for the group.

- `400` — Bad Request
- `401` — Authentication Error
- `403` — Forbidden
- `404` — Resource Not Found
- `default` — Error
