# Get a contact

`GET /contacts/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.sagaris.ai/api/v1`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Retrieve one live contact by UUID in the authenticated key workspace. Unknown, archived and foreign contacts return 404.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid JSON body or field validation failure.
- `401`: Missing, malformed, invalid, revoked, or expired API key.
- `403`: The key does not hold the required scope for this operation.
- `404`: The referenced resource was not found in the key's workspace.
- `500`: Query failure.
- `503`: The database / API-keys table is not provisioned.
