# Logout

`POST /auth/logout`

## Request

Ends this session: the cookie is cleared and the token itself stops working. Clearing the
cookie alone left the token good until it expired, up to thirty days: whoever had copied it
from a shared computer or a log was not signed out by the owner signing out.
