# Rating summary for a recipe

`GET /patients/{patient_id}/recipes/{recipe_id}/rating`

- RecipeRatingSummaryResponse
  - `family` RecipeRatingAggregate
    - `average` number, nullable
    - `count` integer
  - `family_includes_other_recipes` boolean — True when the family average covers recipes beyond this one, including private copies made by other patients. Ratings on those copies count towards the family score and no rater is identified. Present so a client never labels the family number as the rating of this exact recipe.
  - `family_recipe_count` integer — How many recipes the family average pools. Greater than 1 means the score is not this recipe alone.
  - `family_root_recipe_id` integer
  - `patient_rating` integer, nullable — This patient's own rating, if any.
  - `recipe` RecipeRatingAggregate
    - `average` number, nullable
    - `count` integer
