# Emails a one-time onboarding verification code to an invited patient.

`POST /patients/onboarding/verification`

Unauthenticated and rate limited per client address and per email. Always returns 202 with an empty body, whether or not the email belongs to an invited patient. A code is only emailed to invited, active, unregistered patients in a clinic. Codes are 6 digits, expire after 15 minutes and are single use; requesting a new code replaces the previous one.

accepted; a code was emailed if the email is eligible
