# Move a patient from one clinic to another within the same hospital

`POST /hospitals/{hospital_id}/patients/{patient_id}/move_clinic`

- MovePatientClinicRequest
  - `from_clinic_id` integer, required
  - `move` string[]: Clinic-scoped resource types to retarget to the destination clinic. Omitted defaults to [reports, subscriptions]. Empty array moves membership only.
  - `to_clinic_id` integer, required

## Response `200`

successful operation

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request (same clinic, cross-hospital, patient not in source, unknown move values, or retry without prior source archive)
- `403`: Clinician is not a member of both clinics
- `404`: Patient or clinic not found
