# Create Placement

`POST /api/placements`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ruzora.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.ruzora.com/api/placements`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create a new placement (founder only)

Sets status to "Proposed" by default

## Request body

- PlacementCreate: Request model for creating a placement
  - `client_id` string, required: Company record ID
  - `candidate_id` string, required: Candidate record ID
  - `role_type` string, required: Job role/title
  - `monthly_rate` integer, required: Monthly rate in USD (minimum $1,000)
  - `pricing_tier` 'Pilot' | 'Growth' | 'Squad', nullable: Auto-inherited from company if not provided
  - `start_date` string, date, nullable: Candidate start date
  - `contractor_monthly_cost` integer, nullable: Monthly contractor pay in USD
