# Decide Time Off

`POST /api/dev-portal/time-off/{request_id}/decision`

## Request

Approve or decline one PTO request, then fan out to the engineer
(and, on approval, to the client's Slack channel).

- DecisionRequest: `approve` is explicit rather than a status string — there are exactly two outcomes and a free-text status is how typos become new statuses.
