# Send Assessment Endpoint

`POST /api/candidates/{candidate_id}/send-assessment`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ruzora.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.ruzora.com/api/candidates/{candidate_id}/send-assessment`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Persist the pasted code-challenge link and email it to the candidate.

Email failure is fatal — we don't want a sent-but-undelivered ghost row.
Roll back the DB write so Roberto can retry cleanly.

## Path parameters

- `candidate_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- AppModelsAssessmentSendAssessmentRequest: POST /api/candidates/{id}/send-assessment Roberto pastes the code-challenge link from his recruiter dashboard. We accept either the full https link or just the assessment_id — whichever the provider gives. The field stays generic so we can swap providers without churning the API shape.
  - `code_challenge_link` string, required
  - `assessment_id` string, nullable: Provider's internal id; optional — derived from link if omitted.

## Response `200`

- AssessmentResponse: Returned by all L2 endpoints. Shape mirrors the candidate columns.
