# Get lifecycle freezes

`GET /app/{appId}/lifecycleFreezes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.runway.team`
- URL: `https://api.runway.team/app/{appId}/lifecycleFreezes`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Returns the app's configured lifecycle freeze periods. Lifecycle freezes pause selected release lifecycle events (kickoff, submit, release) during the configured date ranges without changing the recurring schedule cadence.

## Response `200`

Lifecycle freeze periods configured for an app

- LifecycleFreezeSetEntity[]
  - `startDate` string, date, required: The first date included in the freeze period, formatted as YYYY-MM-DD.
  - `endDate` string, date, required: The last date included in the freeze period, formatted as YYYY-MM-DD.
  - `timezone` string, required: IANA timezone name used to interpret the freeze dates.
  - `affectedEvents` string[], required: Release lifecycle events frozen during this date range.
