# List cherry-pick candidate commits

`GET /app/{appId}/cherryPickCandidateCommits`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.runway.team`
- URL: `https://api.runway.team/app/{appId}/cherryPickCandidateCommits`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Returns the commits on the app's working branch that can be cherry-picked onto a hotfix release branch, newest first. Pass their hashes as the `commitsToCherryPick` of a create-release request.

- `appId` string, required

## Query parameters

- `baseTag` string

## Response `200`

A list of commits that can be cherry-picked onto a hotfix release branch

- CherryPickCandidateCommit[]
  - `hash` string: The commit hash. Pass this in `commitsToCherryPick` when creating a hotfix.
  - `message` string: The first line of the commit message.

## Other responses

- `404`: Resource not found response
