# Delete a project branch

`DELETE /projects/v1/{project_id}/branches/{branch_project_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.run402.com`
- URL: `https://api.run402.com/projects/v1/{project_id}/branches/{branch_project_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `SIGN-IN-WITH-X`
  - HTTP bearer

Deletes the branch project through the standard cascade. Branches are also purged automatically after expiry.

## Path parameters

- `project_id` string, required: Run402 project ID. Public IDs are not UUIDs.
- `branch_project_id` string, required: The branch project's Run402 project ID.

## Response `204`

Deleted.

## Other responses

- `404`: BRANCH_NOT_FOUND.
