# Rename an org (first-class-orgs)

`PATCH /orgs/v1/{org_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.run402.com`
- URL: `https://api.run402.com/orgs/v1/{org_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `SIGN-IN-WITH-X`

Owner-only; sets or clears the org's display_name (null or empty string clears) and returns the updated org summary including tier lease state. Step-up gated. Authorize-before-reveal on a non-owner (incl. a guessed id).
