# Start or resend contact email verification

`POST /agent/v1/contact/verify-email`

## Request

- Auth: API key in header `SIGN-IN-WITH-X`

Sends or reuses a reply challenge for the active contact email. The challenge secret is never returned to the agent.

- `401`: Missing or invalid authentication. Run402-originated JSON bodies use the canonical ErrorEnvelope.
- `409`: Contact has no email to verify
- `429`: Contact email challenge sending is rate limited
