# Add Files To Pipeline Api

`PUT /api/v1/pipelines/{pipeline_id}/files`

Add files to a pipeline.

## Path parameters

- `pipeline_id` string, uuid, required

- PipelineFileCreate[]
  - `file_id` string, uuid, required — The ID of the file
  - `custom_metadata` object, nullable — Custom metadata for the file

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- PipelineFile[]
  - `id` string, uuid, required — Unique identifier for the pipeline file.
  - `name` string, nullable — Name of the file.
  - `external_file_id` string, nullable — The ID of the file in the external system.
  - `file_size` integer, nullable — Size of the file in bytes.
  - `file_type` string, nullable — File type (e.g. pdf, docx, etc.).
  - `project_id` string, uuid, nullable — The ID of the project that the file belongs to.
  - `last_modified_at` string, date-time, nullable — The last modified time of the file.
  - `file_id` string, uuid, nullable — The ID of the file.
  - `pipeline_id` string, uuid, required — The ID of the pipeline that the file is associated with.
  - `resource_info` object, nullable — Resource information for the file.
  - `permission_info` object, nullable — Permission information for the file.
  - `custom_metadata` object, nullable — Custom metadata for the file.
  - `data_source_id` string, uuid, nullable — The ID of the data source that the file belongs to.
  - `config_hash` object, nullable — Hashes for the configuration of the pipeline.
  - `indexed_page_count` integer, nullable — The number of pages that have been indexed for this file.
  - `status` 'NOT_STARTED' | 'IN_PROGRESS' | 'SUCCESS' | 'ERROR' | 'CANCELLED', nullable — Status of the pipeline file.
  - `status_updated_at` string, date-time, nullable — The last time the status was updated.
  - `created_at` string, date-time, nullable — When the pipeline file was created.
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, nullable — When the pipeline file was last updated.
