# Delete a segment

`DELETE /v1/segments/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.rumoro.dev`
- URL: `https://api.rumoro.dev/v1/segments/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Deletes the segment. The people in it are not changed.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: The segment's id (seg_...).

## Response `204`

Done

## Other responses

- `401`: The API key is missing or not valid
- `404`: Your workspace has no segment with this id
