# List the comments of a mention

`GET /v1/mentions/{id}/comments`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.rumoro.dev`
- URL: `https://api.rumoro.dev/v1/mentions/{id}/comments`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The comments under a mention's post, newest first: every comment of the thread you received, whether or not it names your keyword. Threads are read for new mentions scored relevant of keywords with comments on (keywords.comments), on Hacker News, Bluesky, GitHub, Stack Overflow, DEV, YouTube and Reddit; the list is empty before the first read and for other keywords. Each comment delivered costs $0.008 on the comments line, once per workspace. A comment that itself names one of your keywords is also a mention, linked by `mentionId`. Two mentions of one post (two keywords) list the same thread.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: Mention id (mm_...).

## Query parameters

- `cursor` string: nextCursor from the previous page.
- `limit` integer: Page size, 1 to 100.

## Response `200`

One page of the thread, newest first

- object
  - `data` MentionComment[], required
    - `id` string, required: Comment id (men_...): the item itself, the same for every workspace it reaches.
    - `url` string, required: Permalink of the comment.
    - `text` string, required: The comment as plain text, at most 8 KB.
    - `publishedAt` string, required: When the comment was written.

      - `name` string, nullable, required: As the platform names them.
      - `url` string, nullable, required: Their profile.
      - `avatarUrl` string, nullable, required: Their profile picture, when the platform sends one.
    - `parentCommentId` string, nullable, required: The comment this one answers, when it is a reply inside the thread; null for a comment on the post itself.
    - `engagement` object, nullable, required: Engagement counts as the platform reported them when the post was ingested, usually minutes after it was written; a count the platform does not have is null. Null as a whole for platforms that report none and for posts ingested before September 2026. X carries all six.

    - `classification` object, nullable, required: A light read of the comment (sentiment and intent tags), null until it is scored, usually minutes after the thread arrives.
      - `sentiment` 'positive' | 'neutral' | 'negative', nullable, required: Classifier sentiment.
      - `intents` string[], required: Intent and topic tags, the same vocabulary as a mention's.
    - `mentionId` string, nullable, required: When this comment itself names one of your keywords, its mention (mm_...), with the full verdict. Null otherwise.
  - `nextCursor` string, nullable, required: Pass as cursor for the next page; null on the last page.
