# Replace a user

`PUT /scim/v2/{orgSlug}/Users/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.routebase.dev`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Replaces the attributes of a user wholesale. Attributes you leave out are
cleared, so send the complete resource rather than a partial one.

- `ScimId` string, uuid, required
- `OrgSlug` string, required

## Headers

- `X-RB-Region` string

## Response `200`

The updated user.

## Other responses

- `400`: A SCIM error envelope.
- `404`: A SCIM error envelope.
- `429`: The rate limit was exceeded. The `Retry-After` header gives the seconds to wait. SCIM is counted per source IP.
