# Send a message to the maintainer

`POST /contact`

## Request

The one write endpoint: emails ross@ryanbrents.com with the submitter set as Reply-To. Honeypot-guarded. Requires the server to be configured with a mail key (503 otherwise).

## Request body

- ContactRequest: Contact-form submission. `company` / `website` are honeypots — leave them empty.
  - `name` string, nullable
  - `email` string, email, required
  - `message` string, required
  - `source` string, nullable: Where the message originated

## Response `200`

OK

- ContactResult
  - `ok` boolean, required
  - `id` string, nullable: Provider message id, on success
  - `error` string, nullable: Stable machine code when ok=false
  - `message` string, nullable: Human-readable detail

## Other responses

- `400`: Body was not valid JSON
- `422`: Invalid email or empty message
- `502`: Mail service could not be reached
- `503`: Contact is not configured on the server
