# Get post comments

`GET /api/v1/enrichment/post-comments`

## Request

Discover who is actively engaging with a LinkedIn post — surface prospects already commenting on content relevant to your market, with the exact words they used.

**Input:** the LinkedIn post URL or activity ID (`post`, required). Optionally sort with `sortBy` (`relevance`, the default, or `date`), and page through results with `page` (1-based) or the `paginationToken` returned by a previous call.

**Output:** a page of commenters, each with their profile data (name, headline, LinkedIn URL, profile picture) and their comment (`commentText`, `createdAt`), plus a per-comment id/permalink. When more results exist, a `paginationToken` is returned under `pagination` — pass it back to fetch the next page. Costs 0.5 credits per page that returns commenters; empty pages are free.

## Query parameters

- `post` string, required: LinkedIn post URL or activity ID
- `sortBy` string, nullable: Sort order: 'relevance' (default) or 'date'
- `page` integer, nullable: Page number (1-based)
- `paginationToken` string, nullable: Token from a previous page's response

## Response `200`

One page of people who commented on the post.

- object: Typed response for /enrichment/post-comments.
  - `data` object, nullable: One page of comments, or null if none found
    - `elements` object[], nullable: Comments on the post
      - `commentId` string, nullable: The comment's own stable ID — use as the de-duplication key
      - `commentUrl` string, nullable: Permalink to the comment (also unique per comment)
      - `id` string, nullable: LinkedIn member ID of the commenter (not the comment ID)
      - `name` string, nullable: Commenter full name
      - `linkedinUrl` string, nullable: Commenter profile URL
      - `position` string, nullable: Headline / current position (may be null)
      - `pictureUrl` string, nullable: Profile picture URL (may be null)
      - `commentText` string, nullable: The comment body
      - `createdAt` string, nullable: ISO-8601 timestamp of the comment (may be null)
      - `isAuthor` boolean, nullable: True when the commenter is the post's author replying
    - `pagination` object, nullable: Pagination cursor
      - `paginationToken` string, nullable: Token to pass to fetch the next page (absent on the last page)
  - `requestId` string, nullable: Unique request identifier

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Retry after the number of seconds in the `Retry-After` response header.
