# Resolve a location to geo ID

`GET /api/v1/enrichment/linkedin-geo-id`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.rodz.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.rodz.io/api/v1/enrichment/linkedin-geo-id`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Convert location names into LinkedIn geo IDs for precise geographic filtering in people-search queries — target talent, decision-makers, or prospects in specific cities, regions, or countries.

**Input:** `search` — the location name to resolve (e.g. 'Paris', 'California', 'France', 'Greater Boston').

**Output:** `data.elements` — an array of matching LinkedIn locations, each with a `geoId` (pass to people-search's `geoIds` parameter) and a human-readable `title` (e.g. 'Paris, Île-de-France, France'). Results are ordered by relevance; the first match is usually the best fit. A name that spans several LinkedIn locations — a former French region such as 'Alsace' — returns one element per location (Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin): pass every `geoId` to cover the whole area. Free endpoint — no credits required.
