# Find an email address

`GET /api/v1/enrichment/find-email`

## Request

Find a professional email address for a person from their name and company, with deliverability validation. Useful for lead research and prospecting.

**Input:** `firstName` + `lastName` (or `fullName`), plus a company identifier — `companyName` or `domain`. At least one identifier is required; supplying the person's name together with a company yields the best match rate. Any missing identifiers are automatically completed from your account data to improve accuracy.

**Output:** `email` (the address, or null when none found), `emailDomain`, `status` (deliverability — one of Valid, Invalid, Unknown, Accept-all, Risky), `smtpCheck` (boolean SMTP verification result), `mxfound` (boolean — whether an MX record exists for the domain), `patterns` (detected address formats such as `{first}.{last}@domain.com`), `mostProbableEmail` (ranked alternative candidates, empty when none), `flags` (deliverability risk flags), `mxRecord` (primary MX host), and `smtpProvider` (mail host — `google`, `microsoft`, or `other`).

    - `mxRecord` string, nullable: Primary MX record host for the domain
    - `smtpProvider` string, nullable: Mail host behind the domain, e.g. "google", "microsoft", "other"
  - `requestId` string, nullable: Unique request identifier

## Other responses

- `400`: No search parameter supplied — provide at least one.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Retry after the number of seconds in the `Retry-After` response header.
