# List graph database backups

`GET /v1/graphs/{graph_id}/backups`

  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

- `limit` integer: Maximum number of backups to return
- `offset` integer: Number of backups to skip

Successful Response

- BackupListResponse: Response model for backup list.
  - `backups` BackupResponse[], required
    - `backup_id` string, required
    - `graph_id` string, required
    - `backup_format` string, required
    - `backup_type` string, required
    - `initiated_by` string: Who started this backup. 'user' is one you requested and it counts against the tier's daily backup limit; 'scheduled' is taken nightly on your behalf and does not; 'final' is the copy taken when a graph is deprovisioned, so you can still retrieve your data afterwards.
    - `memory_included` boolean, nullable: Whether the archive carries this graph's semantic memory store. Null for backups taken before memory was included, which make no claim either way — distinct from false, which means the graph had none.
    - `status` string, required
    - `original_size_bytes` integer, required
    - `compressed_size_bytes` integer, required
    - `compression_ratio` number, required
    - `node_count` integer, required
    - `relationship_count` integer, required
    - `backup_duration_seconds` number, required
    - `compression_enabled` boolean, required
    - `download_extension` string, nullable: Extension the download will carry, and therefore how to unpack it: '.lbug.zip' is a ZIP holding the LadybugDB database file, '.lbug.zst' is zstd-compressed (`zstd -d`). Null only when the backup has no stored object yet.
    - `created_at` string, required
    - `completed_at` string, nullable, required
    - `expires_at` string, nullable, required
  - `total_count` integer, required
  - `graph_id` string, required
  - `is_shared_repository` boolean: Whether this is a shared repository (limits apply)
  - `download_quota` DownloadQuota: Download quota information for shared repository backups.
    - `limit_per_month` integer, required: Maximum downloads allowed per month
    - `used_this_month` integer, required: Number of downloads used this month
    - `remaining` integer, required: Downloads remaining this month
    - `resets_at` string, date-time, required: When the monthly limit resets (UTC)

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Access denied
- `404`: Resource not found
- `422`: Validation Error
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
