# Get temporary download URL for backup

`GET /v1/graphs/{graph_id}/backups/{backup_id}/download`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.robosystems.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.robosystems.ai/v1/graphs/{graph_id}/backups/{backup_id}/download`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Generate a temporary download URL for a backup. The filename carries the extension listed as `download_extension` on the backup: `.lbug.zip` is a ZIP holding the LadybugDB database file `{graph_id}.lbug`; `.lbug.zst` (shared repository snapshots) is a single zstd-compressed database file; decompress it with `zstd -d`.

- `expires_in` integer: URL expiration time in seconds

## Response `200`

Download URL generated successfully

- BackupDownloadUrlResponse: Response model for backup download URL generation.
  - `download_url` string, required: Pre-signed S3 URL for downloading the backup file
  - `expires_in` integer, required: URL expiration time in seconds from now
  - `expires_at` number, required: Unix timestamp when the URL expires
  - `backup_id` string, required: Backup identifier
  - `graph_id` string, required: Graph database identifier

## Other responses

- `403`: Access denied — admin role on the graph, or an eligible repository subscription, is required
- `404`: Backup not found
- `422`: Validation Error
- `500`: Failed to generate download URL
