# Use a GitHub connection from another org you manage

`POST /client/github/share`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.roar-ai.com`
- URL: `https://api.roar-ai.com/client/github/share`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Body `{ installationId }`, taken from `shareable` on `/github/status`. For a GitHub organisation already connected to another org, which the normal connect flow cannot finish. Needs a signed-in person who is owner or admin both here and in an org the installation is already connected to. An API key is refused.

The account now connected here. (Response shape not yet modelled in this spec.)

- `400`: This workspace is already connected, or GitHub could not be asked
- `403`: Not an owner or admin here, or called with an API key
- `404`: No GitHub connection you can share here
