# Allow or stop members connecting their own GitHub

`POST /client/github/member-connect`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.roar-ai.com`
- URL: `https://api.roar-ai.com/client/github/member-connect`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Owner-only. When allowed (the default), any member who can deploy may connect a GitHub account of their own, and it ADDS to what the company can reach rather than replacing anything. Turning it off leaves existing connections in place — disconnect one explicitly to remove it.

## Request body

- object
  - `allowed` boolean, required

## Response `200`

The policy now in force

## Other responses

- `403`: Only an owner can change this
