# Begin connecting GitHub

`GET /client/github/authorize`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.roar-ai.com`
- URL: `https://api.roar-ai.com/client/github/authorize`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the signed URL to send a person to. **The install must start here** — one begun from GitHub's own UI lands unbound and cannot be adopted; it has to be uninstalled and redone. Requires `apps:read`.

## Response `200`

The URL to open. (Response shape not yet modelled in this spec.)
