# Make this domain your app’s main address

`POST /client/domains/{id}/make-primary`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.roar-ai.com`
- URL: `https://api.roar-ai.com/client/domains/{id}/make-primary`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The main address is the link people are given for your app, and where its Roar address redirects. Your other domains keep serving the app as they are — nothing else is redirected — and your app’s `APP_URL` variable does not change. Only a live domain can be chosen. If it later stops answering, the next live address stands in until it does. No body.

`id` is a DOMAIN id, from `GET /client/services/{id}/domains`. Requires `apps:deploy`.

## Other responses

- `400`: The domain is not live yet, or is not answering
- `403`: Key lacks apps:deploy
- `404`: No such domain
