# Move an app into a project

`POST /client/apps/{id}/group`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Changes which project the app is grouped and budgeted under; its gateway key moves with it. A key cannot move an app into a project whose tool bundles run with full access (403) — an owner or admin in the console can. Requires `apps:deploy`.
