# List Taps

`GET /v1/hardware/taps`

Tap sizes. Reference an entry by `id` as `tap_id`.

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer — Items per page (max 500).
- `cursor` string, nullable — `next_cursor` from the previous page.

    - `id` string, required — Catalog ID; use as `tap_id` in a configuration.
    - `size` string, required
    - `thread_standard` string, nullable
    - `pitch` number, nullable — Thread pitch in the tap's own units: mm for metric taps, threads per inch for imperial taps.
    - `major_diameter_mm` number, nullable
    - `hole_diameter_mm` number, nullable — Diameter the hole is laser-cut to before it is tapped (major diameter minus one pitch). Production files resize a tapped hole to this size; the change is reported as a `tap_hole_diameter` transformation on the DFM report.
  - `has_more` boolean
  - `next_cursor` string, nullable — Opaque cursor for the next page. Pass it as the `cursor` query parameter. Null when `has_more` is false.

## Other responses

- `401` — Missing or invalid credentials.
- `403` — The credentials do not permit this operation.
- `404` — The resource does not exist or is not visible to the caller.
- `422` — Validation failed; see `error.param` and `error.details`.
- `429` — Rate limit exceeded; retry after the `Retry-After` header.
- `500` — Unexpected failure; safe to retry with the same Idempotency-Key.
