# Sector / subsector peer cohort

`GET /peers`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://riskmodels.app/api`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://riskmodels.app/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://riskmodels.app/api/oauth/token`, scopes: `mcp:read`)

Resolve a ticker's peer cohort from the symbols registry, ordered by latest market cap. Defaults to `subsector_etf` grouping and falls back to `sector_etf` when the subsector cohort is thin. Powers PeerGroupProxy selection-skill workflows without exposing storage credentials to clients.
**Authentication:** Required (API Key or OAuth2)
**Billing:** $0.005 per request

## Other responses
