# Set reduce-only mode

`POST /admin/reduce-only-mode`

Enable or disable reduce-only mode. While on, a resting order (GTC/GTT) is accepted only if it is marked reduce-only; FOK and IOC are admitted regardless, since they can never rest. When market_id is 0 (or unset), toggles the venue-wide flag; when market_id > 0, toggles the per-market override only. Effective reduce-only = venue-wide OR per-market. A market_id outside the pre-registered callback range is rejected with NOT_FOUND rather than silently accepted.

- ApiSetReduceOnlyModeRequest
  - `enabled` boolean
  - `market_id` string, int64: Optional market_id. When 0 or unset, toggles the venue-wide flag (rejects any non-reduce-only resting order on every market). When > 0, toggles the per-market override only — used to wind a single market down without locking it on-chain. Effective reduce-only for a market = venue-wide OR per-market.
