# Update maximum retry attempts

`PATCH /campaigns/call/{campaignscalllistuuid}/maxretry/{newMaxRetry}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://public-api.ringover.com/v2`
- URL: `https://public-api.ringover.com/v2/campaigns/call/{campaignscalllistuuid}/maxretry/{newMaxRetry}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Updates the maximum number of call retry attempts for a campaign and resets all contacts' retry counters to reflect the new limit. When a contact's call is not answered or fails, the system will retry up to `newMaxRetry` times before marking the contact as exhausted. The new value is provided in the URL path.

**Permission:** No specific permission required. A valid API key is sufficient.

- `400`: Invalid ID supplied
- `401`: Token unauthorized
- `404`: Group not found
