# Delete an API token

`DELETE /tokens/{tokenId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.rightmessage.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.rightmessage.com/v1/tokens/{tokenId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Revokes one of the authenticated user's API tokens.

Only a signed-in dashboard session can call this; a request with an API token gets 403.

## Path parameters

- `tokenId` integer, required

## Response `204`

No content

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, invalid or revoked API token.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded: 120 requests per minute for project endpoints, 60 per minute for token and connection endpoints. Retry after the `Retry-After` seconds.
