# Resolve a goal exception

`POST /workday_integration/resolve`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.rhythms.ai`
- URL: `https://api.rhythms.ai/workday_integration/resolve`
- Auth: none required

Administrator acknowledgement before resubmitting returned content, accepting a conflict overwrite, or retiring a deleted source goal. Unknown outcomes and missing targets cannot be force-retried.

## Request body

- object
  - `uuid` string, required: Goal mapping UUID
  - `resolution` 'resubmit' | 'overwrite' | 'retire' | 'resume' | 'recheck_target', required: Explicit resolution
  - `review_token` string: Required for overwrite; token from the current goal review comparison

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request - Invalid parameters or malformed request
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing authentication
- `403`: Forbidden - User lacks permission to access this resource
- `404`: Not Found - Resource does not exist
- `409`: A sync is running or the reviewed content changed; refresh the review
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity - Invalid request parameters or validation errors
- `429`: Too Many Requests - Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal Server Error - Unexpected server error
