# Set up and verify a Workday connection

`POST /workday_integration/connection_setup`

## Request

Active tenant administrators submit OAuth refresh-token credentials over the authenticated connection. Verifies reference reads only, stores credentials encrypted, and leaves synchronization disabled. Live publication remains gated on validated tenant capabilities.

    - `rest_endpoint` string, required: Approved Performance Enablement v5 tenant endpoint
    - `soap_endpoint` string, required: Approved Performance Management v45.0 tenant endpoint
    - `token_endpoint` string, required: Registered tenant OAuth token endpoint
    - `client_id` string, required: OAuth client identifier
    - `client_secret` string, required: OAuth client secret
    - `refresh_token` string, required: Refresh token issued for the dedicated integration account

- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing authentication
- `403`: Forbidden - User lacks permission to access this resource
