# Resolve a Teams chat identity

`POST /internal/teams_chat/resolve_identity`

Resolves the verified Teams identity tuple to an existing active Rhythms user and enabled tenant connection. Requires the internal API key; returns 404 when the identity or Teams Chat SDK connection is unavailable. Called by the Teams adapter.

## Request body

- object
  - `bot_application_id` string, required — Application ID of the authenticated Teams bot
  - `microsoft_tenant_id` string, required — Microsoft tenant ID from the authenticated Teams activity
  - `aad_object_id` string, required — Microsoft Entra object ID of the activity's author

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - Invalid parameters or malformed request
- `401` — Unauthorized - Invalid or missing authentication
- `403` — Forbidden - User lacks permission to access this resource
- `404` — Not Found - Resource does not exist
- `422` — Unprocessable Entity - Invalid request parameters or validation errors
- `429` — Too Many Requests - Rate limit exceeded
- `500` — Internal Server Error - Unexpected server error
