# Advance a tracked-source sync

`POST /internal/operating_memory/sync_step`

Internal Temporal activity interface for tenant-scoped source enumeration, revision preparation and checkpoint acknowledgement.

## Request body

- object
  - `tenant_uuid` string, required — Tenant matching the internal tenant header
  - `run_id` string, required — Temporal run identity
  - `started_at` string, required — Temporal workflow start time (ISO 8601)
  - `operation` string, required — sources, describe, prepare, acknowledge or failure

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request - Invalid parameters or malformed request
- `401` — Unauthorized - Invalid or missing authentication
- `403` — Forbidden - User lacks permission to access this resource
- `404` — Not Found - Resource does not exist
- `422` — Unprocessable Entity - Invalid request parameters or validation errors
- `429` — Too Many Requests - Rate limit exceeded
- `500` — Internal Server Error - Unexpected server error
