# Take the comparable prize instead of the call

`POST /api/rewards/grants/{id}/substitute`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.rewritelifestyle.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Only while no slot is open (409 `SLOTS_OPEN` otherwise). Swaps the prize for the `substitute` from GET slots and delivers it — returns a claim result (`next_action`, usually `open_chat`). 409 `NO_SUBSTITUTE` when nothing qualifies.
