# Book the day of a 24-hour coaching chat

`POST /api/rewards/grants/{id}/book-chat`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.rewritelifestyle.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Final: there is no cancel. Puts the coach's 15-minute marker on their reward calendar (and in GHL) at their first open reward slot that day; the chat opens at the start of `date` in `timezone`, straight away when that is today. 409 `DAY_UNAVAILABLE` when the coach (or every coach, for first available) has nothing open that day any more; 409 `ALREADY_BOOKED`.

  - `date` string, required: A day from GET rewards/grants/:id/chat-days, in `timezone`.
  - `coach_id` object: The chosen coach; omit (or null) for the first available coach that day.
  - `timezone` string, required: The zone `date` is in — the one the days were listed in.
