# Equip or take off an unlocked cosmetic

`PATCH /api/rewards/cosmetics/equip`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.rewritelifestyle.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.rewritelifestyle.ai/api/rewards/cosmetics/equip`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

One per kind — equipping a frame takes off the one that was on. 400 for an unknown or still-locked cosmetic. Returns the full cosmetics list (BE-3.2).

## Request body

- EquipCosmeticDto
  - `cosmetic_key` string, required: Key of an unlocked cosmetic.
  - `equipped` boolean: false takes it off. Equipping one takes off any other of the same kind.
