# Accept a request, or take over another PC's conversation

`POST /api/pc/conversations/{roomId}/claim`

## Path parameters

- `roomId` number, required

## Request body

- PcClaimDto
  - `expectedOwnerId` number, nullable: Who the caller saw holding the conversation: null for a request in the pool, a PC id for a takeover. The claim only succeeds if that is still true, so two PCs acting on the same conversation cannot silently take it from each other. Omitted by builds that predate it.
