# Remove manager from a team member

`DELETE /team-members/{team_member_id}/manager`

Remove the manager assignment from a specific team member.

## Path parameters

- `team_member_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

Manager was unassigned from the team member.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized – authentication credentials are missing or invalid Returned when the request was not fulfilled because authentication has failed or has not been provided.
- `403`: Action forbidden - insufficient permissions to perform this action Returned, for example, when you don't have permissions necessary to perform this action.
- `404`: Not found Returned when the team member that you're trying to update doesn't exist.
- `default`: Unexpected error
