# Update a payment draft

`PATCH /payment-drafts/{payment_draft_id}`

## Request

Update the metadata of a payment draft (`title` and/or `schedule_for`).

- You can update drafts created with the API or via the Revolut Business app.
- The `schedule_for` date must be in the future.

All fields are optional — omitting a field leaves it unchanged.

## Path parameters

- `payment_draft_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- UpdatePaymentDraftRequest: The updated metadata of a payment draft.
  - `title` string, nullable: The title of the payment draft. To clear the title, provide `null`.
  - `schedule_for` string, date, nullable: The scheduled date of the payment draft in [ISO 8601](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601) format. :::note The date must be in the future. ::: To clear the scheduled date, provide `null`.

## Response `204`

The payment draft was successfully updated

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request Returned, for example, when a required parameter is missing or malformatted.
- `404`: The specified payment draft was not found.
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity Returned when the payment draft cannot be modified.
- `default`: Unexpected error
